How to monitor and adjust CNC machining during the machining process?

Machining is a common type of processing today, but there are still many technical issues in the machining process. Therefore, some necessary technical requirements need to be followed in machining. Only by meeting these technical requirements can machining be realized, and the finished products become more standardized and reasonable. Large machining factories tell you the specific technical requirements that machining should follow!

Monitoring the cutting process mainly considers the following aspects:

1.Monitoring the process of rough processing: During the machine’s automatic processing, according to the set cutting amount, the tool will automatically cut along the predetermined cutting path. Operators should pay attention to the changes in cutting load during the automatic processing on the cutting table, adjust the cutting volume, and fully utilize the tool efficiency of the machine according to the tolerance condition.

2.Monitoring the cutting sound during the cutting process: The sound of cutting the workpiece is usually stable, continuous, and clear during cutting. If there are hard spots on the workpiece or the tool is worn or damaged during the cutting process, the cutting process will become unstable, resulting in changes in cutting sound and machine vibration. Cutting and cutting condition amounts should be adjusted promptly. If the adjustments are not effective, the machine should be suspended to check the status of the tool and the workpiece.

3.Monitoring and handling the precision processing process: This is mainly to ensure the processing scale and quality of the workpiece. The cutting speed is relatively high, and the feed rate is large. Attention should be paid to the impact of skin chips on the processed surface. For cavity processing, attention should also be paid to the edges and corners for cutting and tool use. Adjust the spray position of the cutting fluid so that the surface of the processed workpiece is in the best cooling condition. Observe the quality of the processed surface, adjust the cutting volume by adjusting the cutting amount, and try to avoid changes in quality. If there is still no obvious effect, the program should be stopped. It is particularly emphasized that when checking or stopping the process, attention should be paid to the position of the tool. If the tool stops during cutting, the sudden stop of the spindle will cause the tool to damage the surface of the workpiece. Usually, when the tool leaves the cutting state, stopping should be considered.

4.Tool quality monitoring: The tool determines the processing quality of the workpiece. During the automatic cutting process, it is necessary to determine the normal wear and abnormal damage conditions of the tool through sound monitoring, cutting time control, checking pauses, workpiece surface analysis, and other methods. According to processing requirements, timely handling should be carried out to prevent untimely handling of the tool.
